Paperplanes.world lets you fly virtual paperplanes to people all around the world

Here’s something fun I just found (On Designer News), Paperplanes.world, an experiment that lets you throw virtual paper planes using your phone. You stamp the paper with the city closest to you (In my case, it’s Auckland), swipe to fold it at angles and then throw it into the world for others to catch, stamp and repeat. You can catch others by shaking your phone.

I’ve sent three off, and caught countless others. Some of them have only had one when they came to me, others had so many I couldn’t fit my stamp on the page.
